At the beginning of the 21st century, the number of nurses who were planning to settle abroad and also the number of nurses planning to join the government sector was increasing. At that time there was no service provider to aid in the preparation for these competitive exams and the processes which is required for nurses to fulfill their dreams. The only option for the native nurses was to travel to the nearest state or the cities which consume their time and money. Therefore, we decided to provide all the services in our hometown for our nurses. In January 2015 we established an institution called TARGET NURSES ACADEMY in Nagercoil city.
Initially, the institution was established only for nurses, but later on, it was found out that other healthcare personnel are also in need of our services which are required for their career upgradations, hence we progressed our institution with 8 branches around Tamilnadu state. With this achievement, 300 + nurses were joined in state and central government jobs,1000+ joined in abroad jobs,7000+ services successfully completed, conducted 150+ crash courses and BLS and ACLS programs finally making target nurses academy the number 1 trusted educational partner for healthcare professionals.
We expanded not only in size but in stature and diversity as well. The journey that started in October 2007 with only 20 students has grown to over 3,000 students learning across a number of diverse disciplines making it one of the foremost and most popular institute in Tamilnadu.
Now with the mission of Providing educational and career upgradation opportunities for all health care professionals at an affordable price, we established as a training academy, TIMES (Target Institute of Medical Educational Sciences) on 18 TH January 2023. In less than 6 months after its inception, TIMES upgraded its status, becoming ISO 9001:2015 certified institution in Tamilnadu. Our Head office is located in Nagercoil City and our regional offices are located in Chennai & Coimbatore and we wish to expand furthermore.
